Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia & Free Day

Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, Capital of Mongolia
Our driver will transfer you from Chinggis Khaan International Airport (check available services at the airport to your hotel (30-45 minutes)
Free day in Ulaanbaatar (you can explore the city on your own – check suggested attractions to visit in Ulaanbaatar or book our city day tour)

Day 2: Fly to Ulgii & Shiveet Khairkhan Mountain

Fly to Ulgii town, Western Mongolia
Meet our local driver and guide and drive to Shiveet Khairkhan sacred mountain
Witness a gallery of rock paintings dated to bronze age

Distance: Internal flight with Hunnu air – 3 hours and 5 hours’ drive

Day 3 : Horse Trek / Trek To Potanian Glacier (18km)

Trek or horse trek for 18kms from ranger station toward Potanian Glacier
Enjoy breath taking view of 5 snowed peaks of Mongolia and glacier lake
Soak up the beautiful nature of the national park
You may experience four season weather during the trek

Distance: 18 kms with horse or you can hike 6 kms from the other side accessible by drive

Day 4 : Eagle Hunter Family Visit + Ulgii

Drive to Ulgii via eagle hunter’s village
Visit Eagle hunter family who will introduce their lifestyle and strong tradition of hunting with a prey of bird
Take photograph of the eagle and holding it
Explore Ulgii town visiting open market selling handmade Kazakh crafts, rugs, hat and jacket
Enjoy a Kazakh traditional concert and farewell dinner
Stay overnight in a local hotel

Accommodation: Standard local hotel (double occupancy)
Distance: 5 hours’ drive on dirt road

Day 5 : Fly to Ulaanbaatar

Take a local flight to Ulaanbaatar
Upon arrival it time permits we can arrange a city or shopping tour with your point of interests to make a full day excursion.

Tented camping: Adventure

Camping under millions of star is a brilliant way to connect to the nature and spirit of Mongolia. There is no designated spot for camping but you can pitch your tent anywhere. We provide 2-4 people tent equipped with mattress, sleeping bag and sheets. We leave no trace for camping.

Local hotel & Guesthouse

Local hotels & guesthouse have different standards but mostly basic. We use the best and clean local hotel & guesthouses in the region. MEALS

We will cater authentic Mongolian and fusion meals as well as European meals during your travel. Special dietary requests such vegetarian, gluten-free and religious meals are available upon request in advance. TRANSPORTATION & ROAD CONDITION

Depending on the number of people, we provide 4WD car with A/C including Land cruiser, Lexus jeep and Mitsubishi Delica for comfort and efficiency. More less half of the Mongolian road is dirt and off-beaten.
