Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia & Free Day
- Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, Capital of Mongolia
- Our driver will transfer you from Chinggis Khaan International Airport (check available services at the airport to your hotel (30-45 minutes)
- Free day in Ulaanbaatar (you can explore the city on your own – check suggested attractions to visit in Ulaanbaatar or book our city day tour)
- Meals: No Meal
- Accommodation: Check our suggested hotels in Ulaanbaatar (we can book it without service charge)
- Distance: 30-40 minutes ride to the city center depending on city traffic
Day 2: Fly to Ulgii & City tour


- Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the airport
- Fly to Ulgii town, Western Mongolia
- Meet our local driver and guide and explore the Ulgii town
- Visit bazaar – open market, museum and main square
- Meals: Lunch + Dinner
- Accommodation: Standard local hotel (double occupancy)
- Distance: Internal flight with Hunnu air – 3 hours
Day 3 : Hunting with Eagle in the Mountain


- Drive to Eagle hunter family
- Meet the eagle and hunter for hunting day
- Ride horse to nearby mountain
- Learn from finding, training and hunting with bird of prey
- Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
- Accommodation: Standard local hotel (double occupancy)
- Distance: 2 hours’ drive on dirt road
Day 4 : Eagle Festival – Competition


- Drive to the festival field and get ready for the festival
- Watch Hunters Parade and Opening cermony
- Observe / Photograph eagle calling challenge from the field
- Hike to the cliff to join eagle hunters releasing eagles
- Visit open market selling handmade Kazakh crafts, rugs, hat and jacket
- Enjoy a Kazakh traditional concert to be held in a theatre
- Stay overnight in a local hotel

Day 5 : Eagle Festival – Awards


- Last day of different challenges among eagle hunters
- Watch eagles landing on fox skin
- Observe eagles’ speed and attack on their prey
- Watch tug-of war
- Cherish winners of the festival

Day 6 : Fly to Ulaanbaatar + Hustai National Park


- Take a local flight to Ulaanbaatar
- Upon arrival drive to Hustai National Park
- Visit information center to learn about wild Przewalski Horses
- Observe wild horses that are numbered around 400
- Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
- Accommodation: Standard tourist Ger camp or Boutique Ger (private boutique Ger equipped with excellent furniture and facilities to make your nomad family homestay comfortable and enjoyable)
- Distance: Internal flight with Hunnu air – 3 hours and 2.5 hours’ drive on paved and dirt road
Day 7 : Terelj National Park + Genghis Khan Statue


- Drive to Terelj National Park; beautiful green landscape with unique Rocky Mountains and rivers
- Visit Turtle Rock; interesting natural rock formation looking like a turtle
- Hike to Ariyapala Meditation Temple (20-30 minutes) crossing the short trail bridge to 108 stairs
- Drive to Genghis Khan Statue Complex
- Visit museum of the complex and try Mongolian traditional warrior/queen costume
- Farewell dinner – Mongolian Traditional Food
- Transfer to the hotel
- Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

- Distance: 3.5 hours’ drive on paved road
Day 8 : Departure
- End of tour. Departure from Chinggis Khaan International Airport. Our tour driver will drop you off at the airport approx. 3 hours before your scheduled flight. We are happy to extend your trip to the other destinations of Mongolia (the Gobi desert, Central Mongolia, Northern Mongolia and Eastern Mongolia). - Local hotels have different standards but mostly basic. We use the best and clean local hotel & guesthouses in the region.
- We will cater authentic Mongolian and fusion meals as well as European meals during your travel. Special dietary requests such vegetarian, gluten-free and religious meals are available upon request in advance.
- Depending on the number of people, we provide 4WD car with A/C including Land cruiser, Lexus jeep and Mitsubishi Delica for comfort and efficiency. More less half of the Mongolian road is dirt and off-beaten. Depending on day-to-day program, we drive on asphalt and dirt road for as little as a couple of hours up to six hours with pleasant stops for toilet, photographs and stretching.
