Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia & Free Day


- Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, Capital of Mongolia
- Our driver will transfer you from Chinggis Khaan International Airport (check available services at the airport to your hotel (30-45 minutes)
- Free day in Ulaanbaatar (you can explore the city on your own – check suggested attractions to visit in Ulaanbaatar or book our city day tour)

- Distance: 30-40 minutes ride to the city center depending on city traffic
Day 2 : South Gobi & Yolyn Am in Gobi Gurvansaikhan N.P


- Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport
- Fly to Dalanzadgad (depart at 06:20 a.m and arrive at 07: 40 a.m.), South Gobi and visit Gobi Gurvansaikhan N.P
- Hike for 5kms (2 hours) in green valley and ice gorge of Yolyn Am
- Visit provincial museum of South Gobi to learn from the Gobi flora & fauna and wildlife
- Drive to Khongoryn Els sand dune through the spectacular landscape
- Meals: Lunch + Dinner
- Accommodation: Standard tourist Ger camp (upgrade - ensuite bathroom Ger is available upon request)
- Distance: Internal flight with Hunnu air – 80 minutes and 5 hours’ local drive on dirt road
Day 3 : Khongor Sand Dune + Camel Riding


- Visit camel herder family and ride Bactrian camel for an hour
- Climb 300m high sand dune known as Duut Mankhan (Singing Dunes)
- View magical sunset of the Gobi Desert from the dune
- Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 4 : Flaming Cliffs (Bayanzag) + Ongi Monastery


- Visit Flaming Cliffs (Bayanzag); renowned worldwide for the dinosaur eggs and bones discovered in the classic desert of rock and red sand.
- Explore Zag – Gobi wood saxual shrub
- Drive to the ruins and visit a restored Ongi monastery
- Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
- Accommodation: Standard tourist Ger camp
- Distance: 7 hours’ drive on dirt road
Day 5 : Kharkhorin + Erdenezuu Monastery


- Explore the first Mongolian Buddhist monastery - Erdenezuu
- Visit Kharkhorum museum to learn from ancient empire situated in Mongolia
- Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

- Distance: 5 hours’ drive on paved road
Day 6 : Hustai National Park + Wild Horse Takhi


- Drive to Hustai National Park
- Visit information center to learn about wild Przewalski Horses
- Observe wild horses that are numbered around 400
- Learn nomad family daily chores – cooking class, rounding animals, goat milking, processing dairy products
- Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
- Accommodation: Standard tourist Ger camp or Boutique Ger (private boutique Ger equipped with excellent furniture and facilities to make your nomad family homestay comfortable and enjoyable)
- Distance: 2,5 hours’ drive on paved and dirt road
Day 7 : Mongol Nomadic Naadam Festival


- Assist nomadic family activity such as milking cow, processing dairy product, herding livestock
- Drive to Mongol Nomadic camp
- Witness mini Naadam festival of wrestling, archery and horseracing
- Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
- Accommodation: Standard tourist Ger camp (upgrade - ensuite bathroom Ger is available upon request)
- Distance: 1 hours’ drive on paved road
Day 8 : Genghis Khan Statue + Terelj National Park


- Drive to Genghis Khan Statue Complex
- Visit museum of the complex and try Mongolian traditional warrior/queen costume
- Drive to Terelj National Park; beautiful green landscape with unique Rocky Mountains and rivers
- Saddle on Mongolian pony horse and ride for 1 hour
- Visit Turtle Rock; interesting natural rock formation looking like a turtle
- Hike to Ariyapala Meditation Temple (20-30 minutes) crossing the short trail bridge to 108 stairs
- Farewell dinner – Mongolian Traditional Food
- Transfer to the hotel

- You will stay in excellent tourist Ger camps which a traditional hotel that provides Ger (yurt –round shape dwelling) as a hotel room and is usually located near the tourist attractions. The standard toilet, shower and bathroom facilities are provided.
- We will cater authentic Mongolian and fusion meals as well as European meals during your travel. Special dietary requests such vegetarian, gluten-free and religious meals are available upon request in advance.
- Depending on the number of people, we provide 4WD car with A/C including Land cruiser, Lexus jeep and Mitsubishi Delica for comfort and efficiency. More less half of the Mongolian road is dirt and off-beaten. Depending on day-to-day program, we drive on asphalt and dirt road for as little as a couple of hours up to six hours with pleasant stops for toilet, photographs and stretching.
